Obituary for W.L. "Dubber" Beavers

Funeral services for Mr. W. L. “Dubber” Beavers will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Lincecum Baptist Church, Lincecum, Louisiana, with the Reverends Jim Winegeart, Lamar Carpenter and Randy Griffin officiating. Interment will be held in Lincecum Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Beavers, age 78, of Pollock, LA, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 13, 2020, surrounded by his loving family

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Judi Beavers; two sons, Martin Beavers (Denise) and Paul Beavers (Kelli); two daughters, Susan King (Richie) and Sharon Humphries (Tim); one brother, Virgil Beavers (Sue); eight grandchildren, Marc Beavers, Brittany Mokry, Douglas Beavers, Ryland Beavers, Colton Beavers, Adam King, Hannah King and Slone Humphries; eleven great-grandchildren; one of his best friends and fishing buddy, Charles Fletcher; also survived by Ava Bell Daniel..a first cousin who was as close as a sister to Dubber.

Friends may visit on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Lincecum Baptist Church, Lincecum, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Roy Edwards, Terry Monroe, Lawrence Jones, Richard Maxwell, Herman Carter, James Evans, Trent Edwards and Richie King; honorary pallbearers will be Charles Fletcher, Dee Jones, Carol Kent, Doug Morgan, Howard Valentine, James Douglas, and Jimmy Douglas.

During his final days, special thanks for the care and concern given by JoAnn Holmes and Debbie Durham.
