Obituary for Ricky Wayne Goynes
Mr. Ricky Wayne Goynes, age 60, of Dry Prong, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, August 7, 2020, in Alexandria, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Ricky was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and tell jokes. Mr. Ricky's warm personality meant that he never met a stranger and was willing to help people in any way he could. He worked hard for many years as a logger. Mr. Ricky will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Goynes and Lucille Arnold Goynes; and son, Eric Goynes.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Jessica Goynes Briley (John), Stacey L. Norris (Levy), and Lynn Lam (Dwayne); brothers, Alfred Goynes (Nell) and Albert D. Goynes; sisters, Nancy Scully (Don), Sheila Rickey (Charles), and Patricia Stroud (David); and 14 grandchildren.
