Graveside services for Kennith Simmons will be held at Dry Prong Cemetery Aug 14th, 2020. Officiated by David Antee under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Kennith Simmons, 82 of Montgomery La. entered eternal rest on Wed Aug 12, 2020 in Winnifield La,
Mr. Simmons was member of Montgomery Church of Christ, owned K&L Enterprises where he worked along side his wife until she passed in 2015. He worked at Olan Kraft, Owned Simmons General Store and Water and gas dept town of Montgomery. He loved to hunt and fish. But his greatest love beside family and faith was the game of dominoes. He sat up many of nights at his parents house full of laughter, hollering and enjoying coffee.
He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and foster parent for several foster families.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lillie Mae of 57 years. Parents; Otho and Nora Simmons, two sons, Dewayne Simmons, Darren Simmons and wife Belinda,one brother Leroy Simmons
Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters Darlene Vaughn and Mike Vaughn of Benton La. And Karen Coolman and spouse Tim Coolman of Montgomery La.; 6 grandchildren Dr. Krystal Vaughn and spouse Daniel Spangler of New Orleans, Jeremy Vaughn of Shreveport La, Nicholas Coolman wife Callie Coolman of Sulfur, La. Tori Coolman of Montgomery, Lance Simmons of Montgomery La. Reagan Randall and spouse Austin of South Grant. Great-grandchildren Zachary Spangler of New Orleans, Priscilla and Scarlett of South Grant and Layton Coolman, Bryce and Jace Vice of Sulphur La.
