Obituary for Mary Etta Boney (Jackson)
Mrs. Mary E. Jackson Boney, age 73, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 17, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana.
Services for Mrs. Boney will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home. The Visitation for Mrs. Boney will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
Mrs. Mary Boney was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She worked hard for over 40 years with Lee Dee Vending, who were like her second family, before retiring. Mrs. Mary enjoyed simple things like the casino, her cigarettes, and Coke Cola; oh and the Walking Dead. Her greatest joy however, was her grandchildren. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard E. Boney, Jr.; children, Kelly Michelle and Kevin Earl Boney; parents, Andrew J. Jackson and Wilma Singer Sarver; brothers, Gary, Roger, Donald, Calvin, and Bobby Sarver; and sister, Margaret Marie Jackson.
Those left to cherish her memory include son, Brian Boney (Jennifer); daughter, Kimberly Berry (Roger); sister, Carolyn Langley; grandchildren, Cody Boney, Jacob Boney, Courtney Maxey, Alayna Cox, Kameron Cox, and John Wyatt Stephens; step-grandchildren, Josh Hicks, Caitlin Hicks, Ema Hicks, Cody Berry, Kristen Berry; great grandchildren, Karson, Gus, Charity, Kayson, Colten, Duke, Adam and Kennedi.
