Obituary for Linda Marie Skinner (Parent)
Mrs. Linda Marie Skinner, age 73 of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Skinner was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Many folks knew Mrs. Skinner as a dietitian at Tioga Elementary school for over 30 years. Mrs. Skinner was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church for over 60 years and never met a stranger. Mrs. Skinner loved people and was serving as a caregiver for elderly folks. She was in her favorite place with family and in the Colorado mountains.
Mrs. Skinner was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Skinner; parents, Bill and Marie Parent; brother, Don Parent.
Mrs. Skinner is survived by two sons, Stacey Brittain (Lori) and William Brittain (Angelique) and two grandchildren, Cheyanne Brittain and Asher Brittain.
Visitation for Mrs. Skinner will be at Gallagher Funeral Home on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial service will be held at Kingsville Baptist Church in Ball, Louisiana at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Brad Webb and Clyde Grammon officiating.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
