Mr. James Alvin Walker, age 79, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 13, 2020 in his residence. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.

Mr. Walker proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 16 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and being in and around the Gulf of Mexico. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Juanita Walker; sisters, Debbie Jones and Patsy Bennett.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Barry Walker; and adopted brother, McNeely Bennett, Jr.
