Obituary for Irvin Pierce Williams
Funeral services for Mr. Irvin Pierce Williams will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Montgomery Church of Christ in Montgomery, Louisiana with Brother Mitchell Norman, and Brother David Antee officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Colfax, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Williams, age 81, of Montgomery, LA, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mr. Williams was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He also had a kind word to say to everyone and a joke to tell. Mr. Williams was a commercial truck driver for many years after serving his country in the United States Marines. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
He is preceded in death by two sons, Timothy, and Richard D. Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Juanita Williams of Montgomery; one son, Gregory Williams (Kelley) of LaPorte, TX; daughter - in - law, Christi Williams of Dry Prong, La. one daughter, Connie Bryant (Bobby) of Montgomery; three brothers, David M. Williams (Susie) of Montgomery, Robert W. Williams (Jean) of Gatesville, TX and Mervin Williams (Myrtie) of LA; six grandchildren, Beverly Brumley, Gregory Williams, Jr. (Randa Connor), Shonda Lambert (Derek) Cadee Dodge (Chance), Cody Bryant (Dana) and Brett Rossier; nine great-grandchildren, Sydney Brumley (Brandon Boyd), Emily Lambert, Annie Dodge, Addie Lambert, Dawson Lambert, Serinity Lachney, Gabriel Lachney, Alex Lachney and Koby Rossier.
Friends may visit on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Montgomery Church of Christ, Montgomery, LA from 5:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Gregory Williams, Sr., Gregory Williams, Jr., Bobby Bryant, Jr., Cody Bryant, Derek Lambert and Brandon Boyd; honorary will be, Samuel Antee, Eugene Ferrier, and Clinton Ferrier.
