Services celebrating the life of Mr. George Robert Jones will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Pineville First United Methodist Church, 2550 Monroe Hwy, Pineville, LA with Reverend Steve Berger officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville, LA, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Jones, age 91, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Jones was a decorated military veteran serving his country for 25 years in the air force as a combat control paratrooper. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dee of Pineville, LA.

He is survived by his two daughters, Terri Dixon (Michael) of Tioga, La, Sandra Jones of Baltimore, Md.; three sons, Steve Jones of Pineville, La., Kevin Jones (Rhonda) of Whitesboro, Tx. and David Jones of Seymour, Indiana, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews and many friends.
