Obituary for Debra "Deb" McNatt (Tippit)
Debra "Deb" Tippit McNatt was born April 14, 1952 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and stepped into the eternal presence of Jesus on July 31, 2020. Deb gave her heart to Christ as a young lady. Not long thereafter, she met and married James "Billy" McNatt. They lived the remainder of Billy's life in Jackson, Tennessee.
Deb moved to Pineville, Louisiana following her husband's death. She recommitted her life to Christ at Journey Church in Pineville and spent her final years serving the Lord. She wanted to be at every Sunday and Wednesday service. She helped during the week in the church's ministry to provide food and clothing to those in need. She loved God. She cared for people. And she loved her family and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted for friends and family at the Journey Church, Pineville, Louisiana at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 with Reverend James Greer officiating. A graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2020 with Reverend Jerry Drace officiating.
Deb is preceded in death by her husband, Bill McNatt; her father David Tippit, and her mother Lavada Tippit. She is survived by her brothers, Larry Tippit; Sammy Tippit, and his wife "Tex"; her nephew Dave Tippit and his wife Kelly; niece, Renee Tippit Barker and her husband Paul; and great nieces and nephews Taylor Tippit, Riley Tippit, Braden Tippit, Kendall Barker, and Mia Barker.
