Mr. David Joe Mayeaux, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at his residence in Pineville surrounded by his loving family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.

Services for Mr. Mayeaux, will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 12:00 PM, in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 10 :00 AM until the time of service.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alcide Mayeaux; and grandparents, Wilfred and Leontine Dauzat; step-son, Terry Boyer.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Evelyn Mayeaux; mother; Donna Edwards, step-children, Trey Fogleman (Ashley), Shane Jeffers (Lily), Tanya Goods (Chemon), Monica Warren (Joel), and Kristin Jeffers; 10 step - grandchildren.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Chemon Goods, David Herron, Lynn Herron, Matthew Grassa, Joel Warren, Trey Fogleman and Bobby Mike.

Joe left this ole' world to go to his new home in Heaven on September 2, 2020.
I know one day we will all meet again and he will be walking down a country road to greet us with a smile on his beautiful face. He'll ask, "What" took ya'll so long?"
He'll be followed by his many loving animals one by one, especially his cat Tip.
